Anna’s new billing portal up and running

Anna officials hope the new billing system is more time and cost effective for residents.

Anna’s new online billing portal is up and running.  The system launched at the beginning of the month and promises to provide improved online payment options. Residents now have access to real-time consumption data.  An interactive voice responsive payment system in English and Spanish will also be added soon. 

According to Utility Billing Neighbor Service Manager Halley Burnside, the long-term benefits of the new system will far outweigh any short-term inconveniences residents may be experiencing now. For the past several months she’s been working together with other Anna staff members preparing for the system overhaul. 

“We were longs overdo with our other system.  Honestly, this should have been done a long time ago,” she says. “This system is going to work a lot better for us and for the customers.” 

Residents who have yet to do so will need their previous account number and last water bill amount to set up their new web portal. Once they create that, they will be able to store multiple payment methods, view and print bills, enroll in autopay and opt for E-bills.
