Anna upgrading utility billing system

staff reports
Water usage tracking via WaterSmart is also temporarily down until further notice.

Utility payment options will be limited through the rest of the year as Anna upgrades to a new billing system.  Once the new InCode system is launched, city officials say residents can expect easier ways to pay and view their bills.

In the meantime, the only ways residents will be able to pay their bills are by check, money order, bill pay through banks and existing auto-draft.  This change will be in effect until Jan. 1.

Existing auto-draft customers will stay current and not need to make changes. Credit cards and cash will not be accepted until the new system is available. The outdoor kiosk is temporarily closed. Water usage tracking via WaterSmart is also temporarily down until further notice.

Customer account numbers will be updated on Jan. 1 with an additional four digits. Bills sent out in January and due in February will have these updated numbers.
