Anna High School seniors celebrated under picturesque Friday night skies May 28 at the high school stadium. Superintendent kicked off the ceremonies with his trademark “what a great day to be a Coyote.”

“We acknowledge the special pride felt by everyone here tonight,” Superintendent Michael Comeaux said. “We are especially grateful to be able to gather here together and celebrate the class of 2021.”

Valedictorian Jeffrey Lewis kept his remarks brief.  He thanked the teachers and parents who helped students reached this milestone.  He also said that, despite what some may think, he believes that people are good most of the time.  Lewis advised his fellow graduates that everyone has choices, so they each should choose something and hope that it works.  He jokingly added to also make sure to brush your teeth before crossing the street.

“I wish you all the best in your future, and good luck,” he said.
