Great Anna Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kevin Hall announced May 5 that he would be stepping down to pursue other opportunities. His last day will be May 17. He said it was an announcement made with a heavy heart.

“I am extremely proud of the teamwork that has been done in and for our Anna Chamber,” Hall said in a video posted to social media. “We made shifts during COVID-19 to keep not only the Chamber doors open but your businesses as well. The Chamber will continue to be a pioneer and forge ahead to be the best connector, advocator and educator for our members and community.”

Hall has worked full-time for the chamber over the past five years and has served the organization for eight. He said he had faith that its board of directors would do their due diligence and acquire new talent to build upon the chamber's successes since its 2009 founding.

At the end of his remarks, Hall thanked the chamber’s board of directors, ambassadors, members and community partners, past and present, that have contributed to the organization. While he was not ready to divulge the details of his next step, he said he was looking forward to his new adventure and asked the community to respect his personal decision.

“Our chamber will continue to fight for our members and be a resource to help Anna be the best community it can be,” Hall said. “This is your chamber, and it has been my privilege to be associated with it for the last eight years.”
