National library weeks: For the love of books

staff reports
Melissa Library Staff Carolina Brea, Marc Royce and Rainea Urbina helped celebrate National Library Week last week.  The three of them, along with Victoria Villegas and Director Jennifer Nehls, used the occasion to express their gratitude to the community for supporting the library, especially over the last year.

National Library Week is an annual event celebrating the important role libraries play in communities across the country. Many people may not realize all the work that goes into getting the library ready each week.  From preparing programs to cataloging and shelving materials, library teams strive to meet a multitude of needs in their communities.  The Melissa team says they are excited about all the family program plans for the upcoming summer.
