Five Anna Lady Coyotes have been named to District 11-4A’s 2019 All-District volleyball superlatives and honor list. Earning First-Team All-District honors was senior outside hitter Lexi Stewart. In 100 sets played this season, Stewart tallied 169 kills and 46 total blocks while serving 28 aces and digging up 78 balls. Senior outside hitter Rachel Goade picked up Second-Team All-District honors. In 99 sets this year, Goade logged 180 kills with 104 digs and 10 aces.

Honorable Mention nods went to senior setter Haley Thornburg, senior middle hitter Bre Traylor and senior libero Alana Pina.

Nine Lady Coyotes earned prestigious Academic All-District honors including Thornburg, Pina, Stewart, Rachel Goade, Gracie Goade, Abigail Katke, Saniya Myer, Qua Fisher and Ariel Aronow.

At the Lady Coyotes’ awards banquet on Nov. 18 at Anna High School, head coach Tomika Crosby gathered with fans and family members to honor this year’s team and present superlative awards for 2019. Stewart was named Team MVP while Rachel Goade was awarded Offensive MVP, Traylor won Defensive Player of the Year and sophomore setter Gracie Goade took home Pack Pride honors.

Traylor played in 100 sets this past season, posting 178 kills and 33 total blocks. Gracie Goade, in 100 sets as well, totaled 328 assists, 164 digs, 18 aces and 91 kills.
