Anna High School's Rawley Hector has received more Class 4A All-State baseball honors after his District Offensive MVP season in 2019. The Texas Sports Writers Association named Hector a Second-Team All-State shortstop on its recently released roster of top players.
In June, Hector made First-Team All-State, as awarded by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Hector batted .621 last season with a .734 on-base percentage, posting six doubles, five triples and six home runs. He also tallied 27 RBI, 42 runs scored and 24 stolen bases.
Hector recently pitched at Chicago's Wrigley Field as part of USA Baseball's 17U National Team Development Program. After that four-game series in and around Chicago, he was one of a handful of players chosen for USA Baseball's 18U National Team Trials roster.
Hector will be a junior for Anna this year and is verbally committed to play for Texas A&M.
