The Coyotes improved to 4-2 this week when they were able to topple Bells on the road on Dec. 3. It was the team’s first game in a week because of the Thanksgiving holiday break.
The boys will travel to compete in the Miller-Grove Tournament over the Dec. 7 weekend but will be back home on Tuesday night to host Cooper.
Anna 59, Bells 34
Anna started strong and was able to cruise to a big win over the Bells Panthers on Tuesday night. Adrian Harrison led the team with 16 points, while Brennan White added 10 to help lead the team to the 23-point victory.
The Coyotes outscored Bells 14-8 in the opening quarter and were unstoppable in the second, pouring in 25 points to take a 39-21 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Sophomore Chase Henson and freshman Keamoni Mattocks each had notable nights, scoring eight points each for Anna.
Anna was able to put the game away with ease, holding Bells to just six points in the third and seven in the fourth to come away with the road win.
Other Anna scorers included: Elijah Smith (5), Dylan Duncan (3), Jeff Muchai (3), Alex Scheidt (3) and Gage Scribner (3).

North Lamar 44, Anna 37
Harrison and Mattocks each had 11 points but it was not enough to lift Anna over Paris North Lamar in their final game before Thanksgiving break.
Anna led early but struggled to score in the second half and fell 44-37.
