Anna High School is only a little way away from the annual prom. The school took a different approach from last year’s prom that had a Roaring 20’s theme that featured several casino-like games popular during that era.

This year, the students voted between the idea of a Black and White theme or Enchanted Forest. The second option won by a landslide.

The Enchanted Forest theme will focus on more of whimsical and fantasy feel. On the 29th of this month, the prom will be held at Heritage Spring Events located in Anna.

The juniors and seniors of Anna High School are getting excited for the quickly approaching event. You can hear quite a bit of talk about the dance when in class or walking down the halls.

"I’m looking forward to prom because I get to hang out with my friends, and it will be the last big thing I do with the seniors before they graduate," said junior Erin Cox.

?The prom committee for this year has been working long and hard on this. Taylor Lawrence, junior class president said, "We have worked very diligently on decoration, food, and the overall feel of this year’s prom."

Lawrence also said that they selected the newly-built venue in order to accommodate all of the students expected to turn out to the event.
