Norma Jean “Bunt” Hall was called home, at the age of 95, on June 15, 2020, surrounded by her family.
Norma, known as Bunt, which was a nickname given to her as a young child, was born on March 13, 1925 in Anna. Bunt was the baby of 13 children. She grew up in Anna where she attended school and met her husband, Harold Byron Hall.
They married September 1946 and were married for 65 years. They worked alongside each other on the family dairy farm for over 40 years.
They were longtime members of Westminster Baptist Church, and Bunt was known for her fried chicken, and sweet potato pie at church gatherings. Bunt would tell others she didn't like to cook, but she longed for those family Sunday dinners at her house where she made her cornbread dressing, sweet potato pie and the coconut snowballs the family looked forward to.
