ANNA — Graveside services for Luella Mary Ingram, 92, of Anna were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Westminster. Ed Neal officiated. Luella Mary Ingram passed away April, 26, 2018 in McKinney. She was born March 7, 1926 to Frank and Pauline Smith Philbern, in Larned, Kansas.
Luella retired from the Melissa school district. She was a loving mother and Mamaw to her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. She enjoyed their visits and smiled with pride when she talked about them to others. She loved all of God’s creatures, especially her dog Shortie that she had for several years. She loved working in her garden and flower beds, which she did until she wasn’t able to. She will be greatly missed by all.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline; and brothers, Louie, Ed, and Jim Philbern.
She is survived by her sons Melvin and wife, Joyce Rule, and Jack and wife, Lorene Rule; sister, Lucille Clark; brother Bill and wife, Thressia Philbern; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
