Members of the community are invited to celebrate Melissa High School’s graduating class of 2020 by watching a Senior Caravan Celebration, scheduled at 10 a.m. May 23.

The graduates will travel by car through through Melissa ISD neighborhoods including The Villages, Hunter’s Ridge, Liberty and North Creek. It will pass by Creek Crossing, Magnolia Ridge, Hunter’s Creek and Brookside.

The caravan replaces the traditional Senior Walk that usually takes place at Melissa elementary schools each year.

Cardinal families and others are encouraged to watch the caravan from their front lawns while following social-distancing guidelines.

It will also be possible to watch the parade by parking along the 11-mile route, possibly on Cardinal Drive, Washington, Liberty and Acacia.

The parade is expected to last approximately an hour.
