Missing person: Anna officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Grangewood for a missing person’s report on April 9. The investigation is ongoing.
Death investigation: The Anna Police Department was dispatched to the 200 block of Mimosa on April 11 for a death investigation. It is currently ongoing.
Assault: Officers were dispatched on April 14 to the Anna Walmart located at 521 S. Central Expressway. The call was for an assault causing bodily injury call. The investigation is ongoing.
Accidents: Anna officers responded to five non-injury accidents and two injury accidents for the week of April 8-14. One injury accident was on North Powell at Hackberry on April 11, and the other was on State Highway 121 at FM 455 on April 14.
There was one non-injury accident on April 12 on State Highway 121 at the Outerloop. There were two non-injury accidents on April 13. Both were on US 75 at Mantua Road. One of the accidents warranted an accident involving damage to a vehicle offense.
There were two non-injury accidents on April 14. One accident was in the 2000 block of Rhymers Glen and report for a duty on striking an unattended vehicle offense was generated. The second one occurred on State Highway 121 at FM 455.
Anna fire run report: The Anna Fire Department was dispatched to Blackmon Road for a cooking fire on April 11. It was confined to a container.
Fire officials responded to Pagoda Drive for smoke on April 12.
Alarm malfunction: The fire department responded to Pate Way for an alarm system activation on April 9. It was an unintentional call, as there was no fire or emergency.
Anna Fire was dispatched to East Seventh Street on April 10 for a smoke detector activation. It malfunctioned.
Flood: Fire officials responded to West Hackberry Lane for a flood assessment on April 13.
Medical assist: The Anna Fire Department responded to 12 medical assist calls and one assist invalid for the week of April 8-14. Three calls were on April 9 at Wildwood Trail, Redbud Drive and Stone Trail Circle.
There was one on April 10 at County Road 423.
April 11 had three medical assist calls. One was on Mimosa Drive, one on Taylor Boulevard and one on Vernon Street.
On April 12, Anna fire had an assist invalid call on Hazels Way.
There were five calls on April 13: one on Pine Knoll Way, Elm Street, East Fifth Street, Rose Way and South Central Expressway.
Accidents: The Anna Fire Department responded to the seven accidents that the Anna Police responded to, and also to North Powell Parkway for a motor vehicle and pedestrian accident.
