Assault: Melissa Police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of East Melissa Road on February 3 for an Assault Class C complaint.


Burglary: On February 7, officers responded to the 1100 block of Baylor Road for a Burglary of a Vehicle call.


Credit Card Abuse: Officers received a complaint on February 19 about a Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse Elderly in the 1100 block of Kaufman Road.


Criminal Mischief: On February 7, Melissa Police was dispatched to the 3500 block of Cooke Lane for a Criminal Mischief complaint. They were also called to the 2400 block of McKinney Street on February 13, and to the 1700 block of Cooper Street on February 18 for Criminal Mischief calls.


DWI: Melissa officers initiated a traffic stop on February 1 on North State Highway 5 at Throckmorton Road. Upon closer inspection, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Open Alcohol Container.


Damage: Melissa police officers responded to one Duty on Striking Fixture Highway Landscape less than $200. It occurred on February 16 on County Ridge Road.


Officers were dispatched to two Duty on Striking an Unattended Vehicle for the month of February. One was on February 10 in the 4300 block of Milrany Lane and one on February 20 on Palo Pinto Drive at Chambers Lane.


Evading Arrest: On February 13, officers arrested a suspect in the 1100 block of Sam Rayburn Highway for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, and a suspect for Evading Arrest Detention on Sam Rayburn Highway at North Central Expressway on February 22.


Graffiti: Officers responded to the 500 block of Hunters Ridge Drive for a Graffiti Pecuniary Loss more than $100 but less than $750 complaint.


Indecent Exposure: On February 6, officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Sam Rayburn Highway for an Indecent Exposure call.


Protective Order: Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Acacia Drive on February 7 and to the 2300 block of Independence Drive on February 15, both for an Order of Protective Custody.


Possession: On February 22, Melissa officers made three arrests with one traffic stop. Officers initiated a traffic stop on Sam Rayburn Highway at North Central Expressway. Upon further investigation, officers made three arrests; one Possession of a Controlled Substance less than two grams, but more than one gram, and two Possession of Marijuana less than two ounces.


Officers made an arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on February 23 on Kaufman Road at Cardinal, and one on February 25 in the 3400 block of Barker Avenue.
