Burglary: On March 16, Anna Police was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hawthorne for a Burglary of a Habitation report. The investigation is ongoing.
On March 11, officers received a report of a theft over $100 but less than $750 in the 1300 block of West White. It is an ongoing investigation.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Rhett on March 13 for a theft of over $100 but less than $750. Officers are still investigating.
Possession: On March 14, officers initiated a traffic stop on North Powell at Rhett. Upon making contact, the suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana less than two ounces.

Accidents: Anna Police answered two non-injury accidents for the week of March 11 through March 17. Both were on March 12; one was on North Powell, and the other was on North Powell at County Road 376.

Fire Run Report: Gas Leak/Smoke odor: On March 15, the Anna Fire Department was dispatched to Eastbrook Drive for a gas leak call.
Fire officials responded to Foxtail Drive on March 17 for a Smoke or Odor Removal.
The fire department responded to two smoke detector calls. Both were on Pate Way; one on March 11 and the other on March 14.
Medical Assist: Fire officials were dispatched to 12 Medical Assist calls for the week of March 11 through March 17. Two calls were on March 11; one on Bamborough Drive and the second on North Belford Circle.
Three were on March 12. One was on South Powell Parkway, Wortham Street, and West White Street.
There was one on March 13 located at South Powell Parkway.
Anna FD responded to three Medical Assist calls on March 14; North Central Expressway, South Central Expressway, and Wild Rose Lane.
Two were on March 17, one on Post Oak Trail and one on North Powell Parkway.
Accidents: The fire department responded to an injury accident on South Central Expressway on March 12, and a non-injury accident on Highway 75 in Van Alstyne on March 17.
