Death Investigation: On March 1, the Anna Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Acklington for a death investigation. Upon further investigation, it appeared to be a medical issue. The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment: On February 27, officers responded to the 1000 block of Oak Hollow for a harassment call. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Driving While Intoxicated: Anna police was dispatched to FM 455 at County Road 287 for an injury accident. Upon arrival, police found the driver to be under the influence.

Possession: On February 25, officers initiated a traffic stop. Upon making contact, the suspect was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and Marijuana over four ounces but less than five pounds.

Miscellaneous: Officers responded to a non-injury accident on February 25. Upon investigation, a suspect was cited for failure to provide information at an accident.

On February 26, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Hanakoa Falls for a theft call. Officers noted the items stolen were more than $100 but less than $750.

Accidents: Anna police responded to two injury accidents for the week of February 25 through March 3. One was on US 75 at 455 on February 25, and the other was on March 3 at FM 455 at County Road 287.

There were eight non-injury accidents. One was on 455 at Ferguson on February 26.

Two were on February 27; one on US 75 at White Street and on at the Flying J located at 714 South Central Parkway.

One accident was on the southbound US 75 Frontage Road at FM 455, and another was on the northbound US 75 Frontage Road and FM 455. Both accidents occurred on February 28.

March 2 saw one non-injury accident on the northbound US 75 Frontage Road and FM 455.

There were two on March 3. One on FM 455 at Oak Hollow and the other was on County Road 370 at US 75.

Fire Run Report-Fire: On February 25, the Anna Fire Department responded to a building fire on North State Highway 5, and to a crop fire West FM 455.

Fire personnel was dispatched to Glenwood Lane on February 26 for a trash fire.

On March 3, firefighters responded to Bat Masterson Drive for a chimney fire.

Smoke Detector/leak: On March 1, the Anna Fire Department was dispatched to Meadow View Lane for a smoke detector activation.

Fire officials responded to Oak Hollow Lane on March 2 for a water steam leak.

Medical Assists: The Anna Fire Department responded to 21 Medical Assist calls for the week. There were three on February 25; one on South Central Expressway, one on County Road 423, and one on Mulberry Drive.

Feb. 26 had four. One on Persimmon Drive, one on County Road 377, one on Pate Way, and one on Glenwood Lane.

There were seven Medical Assist calls on February 27. County Road 423, North Sherley Avenue, Cunningham Boulevard, Indian Creek, West White Street, South Powell Parkway, and Meadow View Lane.

Feb. 28 saw three; one on Magnolia Street, one on Phillips Street and one on North Central Expressway.

Fire officials only responded to one on March 1, it was on Acklington Drive.

There were three on March 3. One on Parkview Lane, one on South Sherley Avenue, and one on White Oak Road.

Accidents: The Anna Fire Department responded to the same accidents as the Anna Police.
