MELISSA — The Melissa Public library would like you to join them for a fun, family event on Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m. in the Melissa City Council Chambers as they present ‘Halloween Stories Without Nightmares’ by professional storyteller, Bernadette Nason! This is a FREE ticketed event, so stop by the library or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your seats!
Award-winning English storyteller/actor/author Bernadette Nason performs all over the world. She is famous for her multicultural folktales, and for personal stories about places she’s lived: England, Africa, Arabia and the US. She was in the movie, Miss Congeniality, and recently published a grown-up book, TEA IN TRIPOLI…and she’s coming to your library! Join us for a thrilling program of (mildly) creepy tales designed to make your hair stand on end.
Perfect for all ages but recommended for age 4 and up. (No strollers). Treats served afterward for a fee. DON’T MISS IT! This event is supported by the Friends of the Melissa Public Library and the Texas Commission on the Arts, bringing the Arts to Texas libraries.
