The 2018 Melissa High School Powder Puff game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 at Cardinal Stadium beginning at 5 p.m.

Participants include Lady Cardinal athletes. Concessions will be available. The game is organized annually by the Melissa High School Student Council.

This year’s Powder Puff game has a special tie in to the #Read2Grow reading initiative at Melissa Schools. Instead of charging an admission fee, the Student Council opted to request elementary book donations at the gate to support the district’s literacy program.

Upon entry, attendees are asked to donate a gently used or new book with a reading level of 1st grade through 5th grade. The books will then be donated to the libraries at Harry McKillop Elementary and North Creek Elementary.
