Animal cruelty — A complainant in the 500 block of Basswood Lane reported on Jan. 28 that someone pepper sprayed his animals.

Information report — Officers were dispatched on Jan. 26 to a disturbance in the 4100 block of Whitetail Lane. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Duty on strike — Someone struck a school zone sign at Cooper and Central streets with their vehicle and knocked it down on Jan. 26.

Criminal mischief — A complainant in the 300 block of Elk Trail reported on Jan. 28 that suspect damaged his motorcycle.

Credit card abuse — A complainant in the 600 block of Buck Pass reported on Jan. 28 that someone used her debit card number to make unauthorized purchases on her account.

Information report — An officer responded on Feb. 2 to a call of a civil matter in the 3300 block of Van Zandt Road. A report was made for documentation purposes only.

Possession of marijuana — An officer stopped vehicle at State Highway 121 at Milrany for a traffic violation on Feb. 2. A 21-year-old male from Honey Grove was arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Assault — Officers responded on Feb. 2 to an assault at Trailridge Drive. A 48-year-old male from Melissa was arrested.

Information report — Officers responded on Feb. 10 to a disturbance at Subway at 2315 Sam Rayburn Highway. Two subjects were criminally trespassing on the location.

Alcohol sales — An officer discovered that a gas station clerk in the 1200 block of Sam Rayburn sold alcohol to a minor on Feb. 10.
