The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed a new insurance company to the city with open arms. The GACC greets each new business who becomes a member with a ribbon cutting ceremony, an event that normally consists of the business owner inviting residents to celebrate the membership.
The GACC allows the business owner to cut the ribbon, commemorating the partnership. Historically, the act of cutting the ribbon signifies a new beginning.
Brady Paxman, insurance agent and owner of Brady Paxman State Farm, said the business was opened a short time ago. “We opened our doors on Dec.1, 2017 ,” Paxman said.
Paxman said he joined to be part of the area. “I live in Anna and I really want to get more involved in the communities of both Anna and Melissa,” Paxman said. “I love being able to meet other business owners so we can all help each other grow our businesses.”
GACC Executive Director Kevin Hall said he could not have found a better way to bring in the new year. “We were glad to celebrate our member, Brady Paxman State Farm, at their ribbon-cutting ceremony,” Hall said.
Hall said Paxman and his agents can help the community. “Brady and his team are ready to help you accomplish your goals dealing with finances,” Hall said. “They can do this by providing savings on your personal insurance, such as auto and home, or by helping setup a custom life insurance plan.”
Paxman said he is appreciative of the warm welcoming nature of Hall. “I love the Anna Chamber. Kevin does a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and like a valuable part of the group.”
