He continues to be a strong advocate for limited government, personal liberty and free market policies, secure borders, 2nd Amendment rights and the protection of life.

Representative Scott Sanford represents House District 70 (McKinney, Anna, Celina, Melissa, Princeton and Prosper). Scott is Executive Pastor at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. Since religious liberty legislation is needed in every state across the nation, he authored and sponsored Religious Liberty legislation such as the Pastor Protection Bill, the Hope for Orphans and Minors Expansion act as well as the protection for Christian Health Care Sharing Ministries. Realizing that state legislative exchange organizations have abandoned social issues, he began the process of creating FREE, the Freedom of Religious Exercise Exchange.
