On Friday, June 7, officers responded to the 1200 block of Oak Hollow Lane regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered two sisters engaged in a mutual assault hitting and biting each other. The investigation determined that both also had outstanding warrants. Arrested for family assault violence and warrants were Anna resident Adrianne Licori, 33, and Tiffany Redwine, 31, from Midland.
Also on Friday, officers responded to the 2900 block of Ashley Lane regarding sexual assault on a child.
"The father of the victim reported that an 18-year-old family member had sexual relations with his 6-year-old daughter over a period of time," said Anna Police Sgt. Jeff Caponera.
Arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a child, a Class 1 felony, was Anna resident Carl Bernard Sama, 18. "He is in Collin County jail on a $100,000 bond," said Caponera.
On Thursday, June 6, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Roseway regarding a burglary of a habitation and theft of a vehicle. According to Caponera, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s home, took car keys and a cell phone and left with the victim’s vehicle.
"We now know the suspect and are waiting for a warrant for his arrest," said Caponera.
