VA Girl Chosen for Select Soccer Team

From Staff Reports

Sarah Fagan was selected to participate in the North Texas Olympic Development Program. This is a state pool of 1998 birth year players who are selected after completing a series of tryouts/evaluations. Players selected may represent their schools, clubs and North Texas in regional competitions later this year. The purpose of the state pool is to develop players who can compete at state, regional, collegiate and national levels. These players have the opportunity to train and compete against some of the best players in their age group.

Sarah loves soccer and has played since kindergarten, first coached by Griff Servati. She now plays for the Sting soccer club and is coached by Tatu, a former Dallas Sidekicks player and Sidekicks coach.

Sarah is in sixth grade at Van Alstyne Middle School.
