Bushland 52, Borger 8: Bushland opened the game with 44 unanswered points and rolled past Borger at home for the second straight win of the season.

The Falcons (2-1) stayed hot ofensively behind quarterback Wren Watson, who completed 13-of-20 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Watson also ran for a touchdown to start the scoring.

Bushland also shut down Borger (1-2) defensively, as the Falcons outgained the Bulldogs by a 444-97 margin.

Canyon 51, Lamesa 20: Canyon stayed hot on the offensive side of the football, jumping out to a 20-0 first quarter on the way to a 51-20 rout of Lamesa on the road Friday night.

Eagles Quarterback Lawton Rikel completed three touchdowns, totaling 196 yards. Jack McCay made six catches for 102 yards with a touchdown.

Jake Gilley rushed for 108 yards with a score.

Dalhart 45, River Road 15: Dalhart continued to produce big numbers offensively, as the Golden Wolves rolled over River Road at home for their second straight win.

Dalahrt (2-1) scored 28 unanswered points top open the game before River Road (1-2) scored. Xaviar Hammett ran for 82 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries for the Wolves.

River Road's Lance Welps threw a pair of touchdown passes to Cory Ferriera.
