Anna ISD’s 2018 boys basketball camp is slated for June 11-14 at Anna High School. The camp is open to boys entering grades 1 through 9 this fall. Fundamentals camp for grades 1 through 6 will be held 8:15 to 11:30 a.m. each day and Competition/Shooting camp for grades 7 through 9 will follow from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Drop-off and pick-up for grades 1 through 6 will be at the high school, with grades 1 through 3 bussed to Joe K. Bryant Elementary.

The purpose of the camp, according to Anna ISD, is to emphasize the game of basketball while challenging each boy regardless of his current abilities. Activities will include competitive drills as well as hot shot, free throw, layup and game competition. The camp will be staffed by Anna ISD basketball coaches and/or ex-varsity players and other UIL coaches. A limited number of individual medals, trophies and awards will be presented.

The cost is $50 per camper, a fee that includes instruction and a camp t-shirt. Checks made payable to Anna ISD with enrollment form should be received by June 4. Enrollments received after June 4 will be accepted but a $10 late fee will be added. There are no refunds.

Enrollment forms are available at annaisd.org and at AHS. For questions, contact Anna Coyotes varsity head coach Kyle Phifer at 214-551-8239.
