The Winters Country Club will host a St. Patrick’s Day scramble on Saturday March 17. The start time is 1 p.m. and the format is an “ABC” best ball scramble.

WINTERS - The Winters Country Club began a 15 week long Wednesday night “Best Ball” scramble on March 14. Teams are drawn each week and points are awarded to individual players based upon the team results each week. At the end of the 15 week session, various prizes are awarded based upon individual points accumulated.

The entry fee is $5 per week. Players do not have to be WCC members to participate, Tee off is 6 p.m. so be at the course by 5:45 p.m. in order to draw for teams.

The cost is $10 per person and the first 24 players receive a WCC Shamrock labeled golf ball. Hot dogs and green beer will be served after the play. Wear your “green” and come hit some greens. Teams will be formed prior to 1 p.m. start so come a few minutes early.
