Melissa already had the 12-3A district title in hand when it took on Community on Tuesday night but another big win going into the playoffs is never a bad thing. The Cardinals will take on the fourth place finisher in District 11-3A, which will be either Wilmer Hutchins or Dallas Roosevelt. The teams finished tied and will have a play-in game to decide the seed.
The playoff game will then be played either Monday or Tuesday, with time and location to-be-announced.
