A dim start got a little brighter for the Melissa Cardinals basketball squad with the return of Jackson Webb this week. Webb has been nursing an injury since during the football season but was able to play in the Fairfield tournament, recording a game-high 25 points against Cayuga to lead Melissa to a win.
The Cardinals are set to play at Tyler Street Christian on Friday before taking a break for Christmas.
