The 9/10 Melissa Cardinals rose to the challenge at the All-Star Tournament hosted in Princeton. The boys played six games in total, losing just one along the way and arriving at the championship game undefeated. Losing the first game to the Anna Coyotes, 13-2, the Cardinals had to face the same squad in a winner-take-all elimination game. The Cards triumphed 17-7 over the Coyotes. The Melissa Cardinal Team also took home the tourmament Sportsmanship Award. Cameron Mitton was named the Offensive MVP of the tournament, while Isaiah Sadler was named the Defensive MVP.
