Four games into the season, the Lady Coyote Soccer Team is standing with the best preseason record of any of the past years. The girls are currently 2-1-1, with wins coming against Bonham and Aubrey.

The squad suffered their first defeat on Tuesday night against Princeton in a 2-1 loss. However, even with the loss the girls certainly played well above what they have in the past.

"With tournaments beginning this weekend, I look to have a good showing against the opponents we will face and I expect the girls to continue to improve with every match," coach Kelley Pitzer said. "I have a great group of young ladies who are striving to become better as a team and I feel we should have a great season."

The movement of the ball, the drive and determination, and the will to win was certainly better than the past. According to Pitzer. With a few new players and the upperclassmen stepping up to take strong leadership roles the future looks bright for the Lady Coyote Soccer Team.
