Brooke Nicole Lemmons and Michael Scott Newland were married September 21, 2013 in the Performing Arts Center in McKinney. A reception followed at The Historie Flour Mill in McKinney.
The bride graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in visual arts. She is employed by The Richards Group in Dallas. She was given in marriage by her mother and father, Damon and Felicia Salmon of Howe. Grandparents of the bride are Pat Hall of Howe, and Jerry and Teddie Ann Salmon of Van Alstyne.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is employed by Raytheon in Dallas. He is the son of Robert and Sandy Newland of Melissa. Grandparents of the groom are Kresten and Lenora Norholm of Yukon,
Okla., Jack and Jann Newland of Oklahoma City, Okla. and the late Anna Lou Black.
The wedding party consisted of maid of honor Heather Lemmons, sister of the bride, and best man Jeff Hart, friend of the groom. Bridesmaids were Kristen Newland, sister of the groom, Grace Espinoza, Kelly Gaudette, Jana Langhorne, and Veronica Reyna. Groomsmen were Heath Salmon, brother ofthe bride, Greg Bailey, Ryan Bose, Loubnan Khoury, and Adrian Ramirez. Jiulian Martins and Sebastian Silen served as ushers. The flower girl was Bradley Rose Henry, cousin ofthe groom, and the ring bearer was Mason Salmon, nephew of the
bride, escorted by his mother Darby Salmon, sister-in-law of the bride.
Following a honeymoon in Europe, the couple will reside in Dallas.
