After months of campaigning and getting their message out, Melissa City Council candidates are racing to the finish line as two incumbents face challengers on Election Day.
The final opportunity to vote, for those who haven’t already cast their ballot during the early voting period, will be on Saturday, May 11 at Melissa City Hall from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Place 2 incumbent Sharon Weideman, who is also the Mayor Pro-tem, is challenged by Ann Marie Kean-Teed. Place 4 incumbent William Farmer is facing off with challenger Jason Kaiser.
Mayor Reed Greer, in his second term is running unopposed and will continue to serve as Melissa’s mayor for another term.
