Anna Police officers will begin working overtime both for traffic enforcement and park patrol. "We also will have a warrant officer working warrants and will actively pursue them," said Anna Police Sgt. Jeff Caponera. "If you have outstanding warrants you need to make arrangements to take care of them."
The heightened enforcement will run at least through September.
On Monday, April 22, officers responded to the 300 block of Magnolia Drive on a domestic disturbance call. Anna resident Dennis Wilson, 31, was arrested for assault family violence and impeding breathing, a Class 3 felony.
