The 6th Annual Greater Anna Chamber Awards Ceremony was held on March 23, at the Collin County Adventure Camp. Two hundred plus attendees enjoyed dinner, awards, a silent auction and casino games. Anna Mayor Mike Crist made opening comments and board member introductions, while the invocation was given by Mark Moore of the Anna United Methodist Church. Donald Nutt received the award for Citizen of the Year, and the trophy was presented by Collin County Commissioner Chris Hill.

The awards banquet capped off a solid year for the Greater Anna Chamber, as the Chamber continues to grow, adding 32 new members in 2012.

In addition, the Chamber thanked Anna Economic Development, Texas Star Bank, Independent Bank, Atmos Energy, OmniCare Orthodontics, Brookshire’s, Advocare and Terrie Billups, Anna Dental, Anna Eyecare, Baylor Medical Center of McKinney, Salon Zaina and SRE Real Estate for their investment in the community.
