GUNTER — James C. Pitts took his flight to glory on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the age of 82. James was the sixth of nine children, born November 19, 1935 to JB and Eula Myre Pitts, in Caddo Mills. James “Dad” is remembered for his dedication to God and his church, his anointed singing and love of music, his continuous jokes and thought provoking riddles, and his great love for his entire family, friends and acquaintances.
