MELISSA — Tammy D’Ann (Shaw) House passed away December 14, 2017, at the age of 48. She was born November 14, 1969 to Silas Wayne and Linda Louise (Green) Shaw in Atlanta.


Tammy had lived in the Anna/Melissa area since 2005. After spending 20 years in the wireless communication business, she opened an independent insurance agency in Anna in 2007. Tammy was chairman of the Anna Chamber of Commerce for many years, where she enjoyed serving on a number of other community development boards. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles, playing games and spending time with her family and friends.


Tammy is survived by her daughters, Ashlee Vickery of Melissa and Sydney House of Anna; grandson, Carson McCollum of Melissa; mother, Linda Louise Lewellen and husband, Randy, of White Oak; brother, D’Wayne Shaw and wife, Dee, of Tatum; step-brothers, Eric Stewart of Hallsville, Cory Howell of Daingerfield, and Casey Howell of Marshall; companion, Jefferson Scott; and numerous other loving family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her father, Silas Wayne Shaw.


A funeral service was held at 12:00 noon Monday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen. Interment followed at Melissa Cemetery in Melissa. The family received friends during a visitation from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
