Possession of marijuana — An officer stopped a vehicle on Feb. 23 for a traffic violation in the 2400 block of Sam Rayburn Freeway. An 18-year-old male from McKinney was arrested for possession of marijuana and an outstanding warrant from another agency.


Credit card abuse — A complainant in the 3500 block of Cooke Lane reported on Feb. 22 that someone used his credit card without his permission to make a purchase.


Information report — Officers were dispatched on Feb. 24 to a suspicious person in the 2500 block of Sam Rayburn Freeway. The subject transported to the hospital for evaluation.


Assault — Officers were dispatched on Feb. 24 to a suspicious person in the 2300 block of Mallard. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation.


Duty on strike — Someone struck the light post at Melissa Road at Highway 5 with their vehicle on Feb. 24 and then left the scene.


Aggravated assault — A complainant in the 1100 block of Sam Rayburn Highway reported on Feb. 25 that a suspect struck him in the face several times causing injury.


Fraudulent use — A complainant in the 2500 block of Quail Ridge Road reported on Feb. 26 that someone used his personal identifying information to open a cell phone account in his name


Criminal mischief — A complainant in the 3300 block of Washington Drive advised on Feb. 27 that someone keyed his vehicle.
