Information report — A reporting party at State Highway 5 at State Highway 121 said on Dec. 28 that he accidentally struck a vehicle. He pulled over to exchange information, but the other person kept driving and did not stop.


Burglary — A complainant in the 2500 block of McKinney Street reported on Dec. 24 that someone broke into their residence and stole numerous items.


Possession of marijuana — An officer stopped vehicle in the 2500 block of McKinney Street for traffic violation on Dec. 27. An 18-year-old male from McKinney was arrested for possession of marijuana.


Duty on strike — A complainant in the 3100 block of Pilgrim Drive reported on Dec. 27 that someone ran over a tree in his yard, and then left the scene without giving him any of their information.


Theft — A complainant in the 1800 block of East Melissa Road reported on Dec. 27 that suspect stole items from her home.


Criminal mischief — A complainant in the 3600 block of Sam Rayburn Highway reported on Dec. 28 that there was damaged property at a construction site.


Possession of marijuana — An officer stopped a vehicle at State Highway 121 at Creekside for traffic violation on Dec. 29. A 27-year-old male from Denton was arrested for possession of marijuana


Unsecured load — A complainant at State Highway 121 at US Highway 75 reported on Dec. 29 that debris fell off of a trailer and struck her windshield causing it to crack.


Fraudulent use — A complainant in the 3700 block of Dogwood Road reported on Dec. 29 that someone used his information to fraudulently open a Sprint account in his name.


Information report — Officers were dispatched on Dec. 30 to suicide threat in the 3800 block of Spring Run Lane. A person was transported to hospital.


Information report — Officers were dispatched on Dec. 31 to a disturbance in the 300 block of Elk Trail. A report was made for documentation purposes only.
