What is most important to God? What is most important to Satan?

In the fight against Satan to win souls for Christ, who is winning? Where is our passion for the lost?

If Jesus could assemble all the Christians in the world in one place, in one huge coliseum, what would He say to us today, Sunday, October 22, 2017?

The truth is, there is a race being run as we speak and the finish line is getting closer and closer. The race being run is between God and Satan and Satan is trying to see how many people he can deceive, lie to and destroy so that they never turn to God for salvation and they live for Eternity in Hell. God is trying to use His people, you and me, to help Him spread the word of truth so that all may come to know Him, believe in Him, turn from their wicked ways, ask forgiveness of their sins and be eternally saved to live forever and ever with Him in Heaven.

That is the race being run as we speak and time is running out. The saddest part about this race is that Satan is winning; it is no secret that right now on this Earth, more people are not living their life for Jesus Christ than are.

I think that if Jesus pulled us all together today to have a meeting with us, for a spiritual awakening, that is exactly what He would tell us. We have a lot of work to do as believers and as followers of Christ. Our brothers and sisters who we walk with and talk with need salvation, and it is up to us to share that truth.

Maybe in our meeting with Jesus, He would say, “Perhaps all of you who hear my voice haven’t stopped to realize just how long eternity really is? Maybe you’ve been so busy, you haven’t stopped long enough to realize just how important the salvation decision actually is?” We are God’s hands; we are God’s feet, and we are God’s voice.

The most important thing to God is that no one should perish and we would all come to repentance. II Peter 3:9

The most important thing to Satan is to turn as many as he can away from God so that they perish with him one day for eternity.

So, there is one very important question for us all to ask ourselves; Who do I live for? Do I live for myself or do I live for God? The bible clearly says that we cannot live for both. Matthew 16:24 says, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

I must be honest and say that it literally sickens me when I think about anyone living for eternity, separated from God and His amazing love.

Let’s examine our own lives today and let’s expose what indeed is most important to us.

The truth is, if we really knew how close the finish line was, we would be living our lives differently. I would think that if we knew the hour was near and we knew someone who was lost, we would do everything in our power to share the Gospel so they might be saved. Please understand that the time is near and there is not much more time remaining for the decision to be made to live for Jesus.

Dear God, place within us the passion and the burning desire to share your gift of salvation to those who are lost, who have not asked you to come into their heart. May we have the boldness to share your love with those who so desperately need to hear.

Last year I learned that my cousin had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. The family knew unless God intervened, his time on Earth was concise. I also knew that he had not lived his life for God and I did not believe that he had ever accepted Christ into his heart. That meant that his hour of decision was very close and if he passed away without salvation, he would perish forever. I knew I had to try and share God’s salvation with him. I prayed that God would spare him until I could get there because he lived several hours from me. Satan tried very hard for that meeting not to happen, but it finally did. God went before me and prepared his heart. I picked him up a bible and

I shared God’s love with him, and he did accept Jesus into his heart. He passed away about two weeks later. I have the assurance that he is in Heaven.

As Christians, we do have the responsibility to share God’s gift of salvation to a lost world. God will grant you the words, the courage and the ability to share His love with others.

Do something to make a difference in someone’s life today.
