Anna Police


ROAD RAGE- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 17 to the intersection of Central Expressway and W. White Street due to a case of road rage and reckless damage.


THEFT- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 17 to the Walmart located at the 521 block of S Central Expressway. A male, resident of Van Alstyne, was arrested for theft of less than $2500 with two previous convictions.


DETENTION- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 17 to the 180 block of Birch Wood due to an emergency mental detention.


VIOLENCE- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 16 to the 1500 block of West White Street due to a case of assault and family violence.


REPORT- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 16 to the 700 block of Bamboo for an information report on family violence.


REPORT- Officers were dispatched On Sept. 16 to the 200 block of Cypress way for an information report on family violence.


ACCIDENT- A hit an run accident was reported to have occurred at the intersection of Central Expressway and W. White Street on Sept. 16. The suspect was unknown as of Sept. 20. Described as a white male, early 20’s, 6’0”, 150 pounds, brown hair and green eyes.


RECKLESS- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 15 to the intersection of Hackberry and James Street. A young man from Anna was arrested for reckless driving with a warrant for arrest.


MISCHIEF- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 14 to the 100 block of Ryan Street for a case of criminal mischief between 100 and 750 dollars.


INTOXICATION- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 12 to the 2300 block of Sephora. A young man from Anna was arrested for public intoxication.


POSSESSION- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 13 Anna High School located on the 1107 block of Rosamond Parkway. A male minor from Van Alstyne was arrested for possession of controlled substance smaller than 28 grams in a Drug Free Zone.


ASSAULT- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 11 to the 600 block of S Powell Parkway for a case of assault and family violence.


THEFT- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 11 to the 800 block of Bamboo. A juvenile was arrested for theft between 750 and 2,500 dollars.


SUSPICIOUS- An information file for a suspicious person was made on Sept. 11 on the 300 block of Elm Grove.


FRAUD- An information report for fraud was filed on Sept. 12 on the 1100 block of Cottonwood Trail.


DETENTION- Officers were dispatched on Sept. 12 to the 300 block of Olivia for an emergency mental detention.


FOUND- Found property was reported to Anna PD on Sept. 11.


MISSING- A missing person report for the 300 block of Olivia was filed on Sept. 11.


INJURY- An injury accident was reported on Sept. 14 to the intersection of State Highway 121 and CR 573.


NON-INJURY- A non-injury accident was reported on Sept. 15 at the intersection of S Powell Pwky and Seventh Street.


NON-INJURY- A non-injury accident was reported on Sept. 16 at the intersection of US 75 and W. White Street.
