The City of Melissa will once again “go green” at the same time as saving “some green” by not printing and mailing this report in compliance with a 2013 EPA ruling that allows the City to provide a direct link to these reports on the City’s website. Those who would prefer a printed hard-copy can stop in at the Utility Billing Suite at City Hall located at 3411 Barker Avenue. They may also call (972) 838-2035, option #2 (M-F 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.) or email firstname.lastname@example.org and the City will mail these individuals a copy.
The Annual Water Quality Report is a summary of the quality of the water the City of Melissa provides to its customers. The analysis for this report was made by using the data from the most recent U.S. Environmental Protection Agency required tests and is presented in the required Consumer Confidence Report that must be filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality annually.
Residents may look for the direct link (http://tinyurl.com/2016-CCR-Melissa) on the mailing insert and/or the memo section at the top of their upcoming utility bill.
