A 25-year-old Anna man was injured in a rollover crash on Feb 22 along U.S. Highway 75.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. in the southbound lane of Highway 75 just past exit 48, to FM 455. Anna Police Sgt. Steve Williams said the man was driving a pickup truck when he lost control of his vehicle, hit a barrier and then rolled.

The driver had to be taken by helicopter to the Medical City of Plano as a precaution. Williams said the man’s injures were not life-threatening. Traffic along the highway was shut down for about an hour causing a traffic backup.

Anna Police along with the Anna Fire Department and the Texas Department of Transportation responded to the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not issued a citation.
