Driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest— On Dec. 27 police jailed a Farmersville man, age 28, on charges of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest and transport. Caponera said Anna officers came upon a vehicle which had run off the roadway and onto the barricaded construction FM 455 zone. Suspecting the driver was intoxicated, police obtained a warrant to have that determined through a blood draw. At Baylor Medical Center, Caponera said, the suspect battled the officers and the nurses, which resulted in the second charge. The blood draw determined the man was intoxicated.
Driving while intoxicated— On Dec. 18 police jailed a North Richland Hills woman, age 36, on a charge of driving while intoxicated. The passenger in the vehicle was released to someone who came to get him, and police impounded the vehicle and arrested the woman.
Order violation— On Dec. 22 police arrested a woman on a charge of violation of an emergency protective order. Caponera said it happened in the 2800 block of Athadasca. When police arrived, the suspect said that her husband had pushed her down and injured her ankle, but a witness said that the suspect had fallen down on her own. Police also confirmed she was intoxicated at the time.
Theft — A complainant on the 2300 block of Houston Dr reported that she sent money to a company for a dog and then found out that the company is fraudulent.
Criminal Trespass — Officers dispatched to RaceTrac regarding a subject that had previously been criminally trespassed from the location. Subject arrested.
Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse — A complainant on the 4300 block of Mimosa Dr reported that suspect used his credit card without his permission.
Duty on Striking Fixture —Complainant on the 3800 block of Spring Run Ln reported that suspect struck his mailbox with their vehicle and then left the scene without leaving any of their information.
Criminal Mischief — Complainant on the 2800 block of Madison Dr reported that a window in his vehicle was damaged.
Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle — Complainant on the 2300 block of Independence Dr reported that suspect struck his parked vehicle and then left the scene without providing any of their information.

Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon — Vehicle stopped on US Highway 75 at Throckmorton for traffic offense. Suspect had handgun and was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
