Anna Town Center, the city’s premier master planned community off Highway 5 (Powell Parkway) is currently building upscale homes, to offset the lower income homes in the Anna area. Available homes range from mid $350,000s and top out at $450,000 plus.
The development’s long range plans call for the construction of retail strips, office buildings, apartments and even a medical center.
At the Oct. 3 Anna Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, preliminary plats were approved for commercial development.
“The first project will be the apartment building to be built by Palladium USA Group,” Anna Planning Director Maurice Schwanke said. “Other platted areas for the time being will remain vacant.”
