Col. Wyatt Andrew Lowery, a native of Havana, Arkansas and resident of Melissa, was recently selected for The Chief of Staff, 412th Theater Engineer Command (TEC), Vicksburg, Mississippi. This position has command and control responsibilities for more than 12,800 Soldiers and 148 units across 22 states in the eastern United States.

412th TEC supports three combatant commands (PACOM, EUCOM and AFRICOM.) His direct responsibilities will include direct supervision of principal and special staff officers, directing staff operations and procedures, enforcing command policies and standards, ensuring efficient and effective staff coordination and planning, assignment of tasks and monitoring of staff performance. Lowery’s major duties will include keeping the commanding general aware of critical issues and well informed of staff operations, supporting and coordinating assistance to subordinate units as necessary during deployments around the world.

Lowery is a 1986 Graduate of Havana High School, a 1990 graduate of the Arkansas Military Academy, a 1993 Graduate of University of Texas at El Paso and 2014 Graduate of the U.S. Army War College. Lowery, his wife Polly and two sons (Luke and Logan) reside in Melissa.
