Schuessler, Bailey named TGCA all-state

HERALD DEMOCRAT

Whitesboro senior Jill Schuessler and Gunter junior Joey Bailey were chosen as Texas Girls Coaches Association all-state basketball players.

Schuessler was named to the 30-player 3A team after averaging 16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game.

Bailey was picked for the 30-player 2A squad after averaging 19.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.1 blocks per game.
