Blue Ridge baseball run-rules Sam Rayburn
HERALD DEMOCRAT
IVANHOE -- Catcher Charles Deckard's three-run homer in the top of
the first highlighted a 10-run outburst in the first two innings as
Blue Ridge run-ruled Sam Rayburn, 11-1, in five innings in District
10-A baseball on Wednesday.
Tye McKinney went all five for the Tigers, allowing one run on three
hits. Sam Rayburn's Kevin Sanders scored on a passed ball in the fourth
for the only Rebel run.
Blue Ridge is entered in the Van Alstyne tournament, while Sam
Rayburn plays in the Calera tournament today through Saturday. The
Rebels play host Calera today at 1 p.m.
