BY MARY JANE FARMER

HERALD DEMOCRAT

Twice on Monday, police and EMS were dispatched to motorcycle crashes.

In Denison, a motorcycle crashed on south Austin Avenue, near Coffin Street. The motorcycle driver was taken by Denison ambulance to Texoma Medical Center.

About 3:30 p.m., Bells police Chief Chris Hoppe was called to a single vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 69. He said that when he arrived, the driver of a motorcycle was lying in the highway. Texas Vital Care EMS called for CareFlite air ambulance, which whisked the woman off to a Dallas hospital. Police have not released her name and her condition is unknown.
