Grayson County College recently announced its President's and Dean's lists for the fall semester.

Nearly 200 Grayson County College students were named to the College's highest honors lists based on their grade point averages and credit load for the Fall semester. Jeanne Williams, GCC's state report specialist, released the lists last month.

"These students ranked in the top 4 percent of the almost 5,000 students who completed course work during the fall semester," Williams said. "These academic honors recognize their hard work and dedication as students. They really went above and beyond in the pursuit of their academic goals."

Honorees received letters of congratulations and certificates noting their academic achievement. The honors also are designated on the students' official transcripts.

President's List

GCC's President's List is the highest academic honor awarded only to students who completed a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieved a 4.0 GPA for the semester. It was awarded to 106 students, listed by city of residence:
