VAHS Latin Students Make State

Van Alstyne High School Latin students once again made a strong showing at the regional competition, with several earning spots in the state contest.

"I am especially proud of this group because they had less preparation than usual for a competition of this nature and still pulled through to victory," Latin teacher Rebecca Thomason said.

Advanced Grammar Level IV, 3rd place, Catherine Atchison

The Texas State Junior Classical League competition will be March 26-27 at Lake Travis High School in Austin.
